HALLOWEEN STEM ADVENTURE – Grades K-8

The only way to hunt monsters is to have a working knowledge of forms of light, basic monster psychology (in this case GROHLLS), monster anatomy and physiology, geographic locations through coordinates, and the structural integrity of monster safe houses.  This Halloween will be like nothing you’ve known before! Monsters are running loose in your town. Your mission? Find the monster food, hide it in your belly. Join in on the hunt and claim the treats and make the monsters go away.

Learning Targets: physics – the study of light, measurement, 3D CAD design,  map reading, communication skills, logical thinking, teamwork, and mindfulness & movement

Parent participation: Parents we’ll need your special skills to support your monster hunters. Once you register your hunter(s) we will send along with instructions. 

Tools: INCREDIKIT – MONSTER HUNT KIT

Required Software:  ZOOM, BLENDER

Duration: 3 days

When: Grades K-8 join us – Thursday 28th 4:30 to 5:30, Friday 29th, 4:00 -5:30, Saturday 31st – 5:00 – 7:00
