Learn to CODE with College-level professors!

If you’ve taken GAMETRONICS and want to go to the next, next level – this is the camp for you!  After a brief overview, we’ll dive right into creating advanced mechanics and show-stopping gameplay that will stun your friends and maybe even yourself. We start with your cool idea for the main game mechanic. Then we move to the UE4 Blueprint Visual Scripting System to customize your game logic and character behavior while learning about programming. Finally, we dig into C+ for some serious refinement.

You will get the opportunity to choose from different genres of video games, including First Person Shooters (FPS), Racing Games, Platform Games, and Flight Simulators. You will use Unreal Engine’s award-winning level development tools to create and design your game levels, and populate them with lighting, particle effects, and game objects.

At the end of the session, you will package up your project and share your completed games with friends and family.

Learning Targets: C+ Coding,  visual coding, storytelling, problem-solving, critical thinking.
Tools:  Unreal Engine
Duration: 2 weeks, 2 hours, M-F
When: Grades 9-12 join us every day for 2 weeks. 6:30-8:30
